Context
The rational use of materials (composites, polymers, etc,) in industry can help towards answering some issues in the 21st century: resource depletion, climate change and overpopulation. Materials engineers operate in all the industrial sectors where materials and their implementation become a strategic asset for reduction, reinforcement and insulation purposes. In fact, the evolution in performance and regulations requires expertise to choose the right material for a specific function, while keeping in mind the distinctive issues of each use. Thanks to their skills which are at the heart of engineering, they are essential to industrial innovation.
